Installing and Tuning a New Motor

Installing a new motor is an quick and easy process that takes 10-20 minutes. It involves the following steps:

  1. Remove the old motor, install the new one
  2. Adjust the Motor Timing
  3. Adjust the Active Coast
  4. Use the included return shipping label to send back the tools and old motor.

Your Motor Replacement Kit will come with a 1/8" T-Handle Allen Wrench and Tachometer.

The only tool you will need to provide is a Phillips Head Screwdriver.

1. Remove and Replace Your Motor

This video will walk you through the steps to remove and replace your motor. Make sure to follow the steps carefully and use the correct tools. Take extra care not to strip any screws.
